9/11—Two Years Later: Why America Is Still Losing the War!
This talk by by Yaron Brook was recorded September 8, 2003, as part of the ARC Speaker Series.
Assessing the War on Terrorism two years after 9/11, Dr. Yaron Brook of the Ayn Rand Institute argued that, despite some progress, the war was falling short of its goal—the eradication of Islamic terrorism against the West. Dr. Brook examined the ways in which the war has failed to curb the growth of militant Islam, the ideology behind the terrorists. He discussed the situation in Iraq and in the rest of the Middle East. And he looked at the reasons for the Bush Administration’s inadequate response to terrorism and identifed some steps necessary for winning the war decisively.
